Emails not sending

Hi,
 
I've setup a customer profile segment, defined the audience in CI-J for which email field to use. But when I activate the journey, nothing gets sent in the email. No errors shown in the email action either. Anyone know what could be the issue?

But in the CI-J, they enter the journey but nothing gets sent

 
 
And in the email action, no errors..just nothing is sent or shown.

 
 
Any help would be appreciated.

    I did not encounter your problem in my testing.
    My CID environment connects to the CIJ environment.
     
    The CID segments conditions are as follows, showing just myself (the system administrator).
     
    The emailaddress1 field is used to store the email address in the customer profile in the CID.
     
    This is the audience configuration in CIJ.
     
     
    It is recommended that you check in detail that the field where the CID customer profile stores the email address is the same as the field used by the audience configuration in CIJ.
