    How this is related to AX? if your keyboard is not working, you may contact to an IT Administrator or any hardware guy.

    Or, as last option you may contact on any appropriate forum.

    This is rather strange. AX has no particular setting with regards to keyboard layout. This sounds like an OS setup, maybe you have some application in the background that changes your layout to specific applications.

    @sellers29

    I am not aware of any kernel classes which may be behaving differently based on selected language in user options.

    is keyboard working well, with all other applications such as Notepad?

    yes its literally only in Ax

    I am having the exact same issue.  My keyboard works outside of logging into Axapta.  Once I am in Axapta-keyboard functions do not work.

    Which version of AX are we talking about here? The thread is tagged with "Don't know" instead of a specific version.

    Do you have AX client installed on the same machine, or do you access it through something like RemoteApp?

    I have Dynamics AX 2009 and it is a remote access.

    The remote access is the problem in my opinion. You're comparing the keyboard layout of your computer (running notepad, for example) with the keyboard layout of a completely different (remote) computer running AX client. It may be different.

    But why would it be working yesterday and then not today?  Also, wouldn't it be company wide and not just me having the issue since we are all on remote access?  I have gone through everything within Axapta and my PC and nothing is out of the norm from my coworkers.  THank you for the suggested.  I will notify my IT dept your input.
