Making our own printout templates

I am no expert just a user of NAV.  Please advise if NAV allows a user to make their own printout templates, ie, rearranging the standard given templates to put in more information from the database and to include the company's logo, address, etc.  If not, then do we have to totally depend on our vendor who sold us the package to do even minor changes to the templates?  (We were told by our vendor that NAV does not allow users to change anything but we know that other ERP solutions do allow users to do so).   If we can, how?

    There are add-ons to NAV that will allow you to do this as well.

    Example:

    Thanks, Suresh.  We will have to wait for our vendor as we do not know the languages.

    If you buy application builder or solution developer license then you can modify the existing reports but you do need to know C/AL (Programming Language for Navision) to make changes to the report, if it is just visual changes then you can certainly do it,if you have proper knowledge of SQL reporting services.
