Default Printer issues when using EnablePerUserIni dex.ini switch in a terminal server environment

We have two customers that updated to GP 2018 that this has happened to.

Part of the upgrade we migrated them from having the dex.ini files in the User Profile to using the EnablePerUserIni switch setting. Everything seemed to be working correctly except that the users would lose the default printer settings. They have checked group policies, etc. and no resolution.

What did work was taking the users back to having their own dex.ini file in the user profile. That fixed it.

So now my question is if I have some settings in the global/Launch dex.ini that should be in the user settings, or the other way around. I have searched for a list of those dex.ini switches that should be user specific vs those that should be global and have not found anything.

Anyone else run into this issue?

Thanks,

Bob
