Unable to login to LCS

When I click on the green 'Sign in' button I just get a screen with message headed

'Something went wrong'

Error Code None.

Next StepsTry refreshing the page. If that doesn't work, try reaching out to one of our support channels


I was logged on quite happily all Friday afternoon and nothing has changed since then to my laptop\MS account that i'm aware of.

 

Can you help?

    Hi Stephen,

    Still the same I'm afraid.

    I tried this last week and it didn't work.

    I have to have this working as my company have adopted a lot of the features in LCS as part of their implementation projects.

    As I have previously mentioned, I'm sure this is connected to the Windows updates installed on Apr 17th - access had been fine before then !

    I will send you screenshots if this will help.

    I  await your advices.

    Hi Stephen,

    Haven't had a chance to check LCS for a couple of days but can confirm that problem is still there. Deleted Temp files, cookies, history etc... but no joy.

    Are you sure it is not a Windows Update that is causing this on my computer?

    I can logon fine before last Friday's updates installed on my PC.

    Can I e-mail you a screenshot of those installed ?

    Sorry, I was working with one of our IT Managers on an LCS issue today and we received the same error you are receiving but clearing history solved it.

    BTW - I am running Windows 8.1 Enterprise on my laptop

    I'm afraid that did not help either.

    Do you have an e-mail address I can send you a screenshot of all updates installed on 17th April. The updates are the only changes to my laptop and therefore I'm sure one  (or more of them) is causing this problem as LCS access was fine on Friday

    Please advise.

    Try deleting your cookies, browsing history and etc.   close and restart IE then try logging onto LCS again.

    I have a Windows 8.1 virtual machine with the exact same version and it works - so it's not Windows Updates...

    IE version: 11.0.9600.17728

    Are you aware of any Windows updates that could cause LCS to fail to load?

    I cannot paste screenshots or attach a file in this update window

    Actually - not really :)

    Maybe I'd have issues, too, with the very newest build (after you are talking about Windows Update - my updates are controlled by the company's internal IT and therefore sometimes are slightly delayed)?

    The build I'm using is 11.0.9600.17690.

    Yes I'm using IE11.

    I have just managed to log on successfully to a server I happened to be RDP'd to at the time, so the problem therefore appears to be with my laptop.

    Any idea what could be causing the issue, as I said earlier I was logged on fine on Friday afternoon on my laptop.

    The only change are the Windows updates which have been installed.
