I've got a capture form setup with a tracking script on our company's website. Dynamics is picking up the script and the form. I've properly set the assignments to the contact fields and I've turned on the capture form. It is live, and has no errors when I error check within Dynamics.
The form is on our site: https://www.mobile-mentor.com at the bottom of the page (i've also hooked up the floating form but for this discussion let's stick to one).
Any ideas on why Dynamics wouldn't pick up a submission?
What additional information would you like to know?
I looked at the two attributes that can be added to the <div> tag. I tried adding the first of the two but it had no impact. The second one seems to be specific to delaying sync, which is irrelevant to my issue.
Attribute:
data-ignore-prevent-default="true" When specified, the form will be submitted regardless of the fact that .preventDefault()
was invoked on the event.
This had no impact on the issue at all. The challenge I'm having is that the form-loader.js script does not detect the form submission.
Maybe I'm too dense to understand what you are trying to get me to do.
I'll see if there's a way to use the MsCrmMkt.MsCrmFormLoader methods to do some debugging.
Hi,
Please refer to the following documentation to add the two attributes into your script.
Extend marketing forms using code (Dynamics 365 Marketing Developer Guide) | Microsoft Docs
It allows to change the behavior of the form capturing.
If it does not work, it is recommended to build a ticket to MS for more help.
If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.
Best Regards,
Nya
