Is there a way native Nav 2016 will allow me to prevent a warehouse shipment or receipt to be released without an appointment time for delivery attached to it?

Hi,
The standard version of NAV does not have something like "Appointment Time", "Shipment Time" or "Delivery Time". Only dates.
In case an individual development by your NAV-partner is not a solution for you, you could play around with Workflows. But this would intend that you relocate your check from the Warehouse Documents to the Sales Documents (Sales Order etc.)
