I am back to getting this message when configuring Web Services. 'Web Services Config Wizard fails: Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'DATA180''  I am using this installation media.

 MDGPFALL2020_DVD_ENUS

I see this previous reply but I thought this issue was correct using GP 18.3

If I need to run the scripts in this KB which ones do I run against the DYNAMICS database and which ones against the company database?

My thoughts are that is is due to the changes we made to Web Services around TLS 1.0/1.1, and the use of the Active Directory security store.

For future reference for those who run into this the answer was to download the latest MDGPFALL2020_DVD_ENUS.There is something different in this media version that corrects the issue.

As I also have the support case you opened, I won't re-hash all the information other than to say that yes, usually when we see this type of message, Web Services is seeing information in the GP databases to indicate a prior install is present, but not enough to offer the option to upgrade, thus it throws the error.

We usually have to run the scripts, one against the GP system database and the other against all GP company databases, to remove Web Services objects and then re-run the Web Services Configuration Wizard to complete the install of Web Services.

    Thank you
