Hi Experts,

I am trying to install "Expense Mobile Application - New Power App - still in public preview"  in to my existing trial / development power platform environment.

Document : Install and configure the Expense mobile app | Microsoft Learn

While installing, I am facing error that "This app can't be installed because its packages aren't compatible with this environment".

Is anyone facing this issue?

Thanks in advance.

I'm getting the same error message when attempting to install the Dynamics 365 app called Power Platform Connection References.

    Sadly I have no solution

    Hello Gaurangkumar Jani,

the message "this app can't be installed because its packages aren't compatible with this environment" typically occurs when attempting to install a Power App from AppSource in Dynamics 365. There are more reasons possible why the message is occuring. Remember that troubleshooting such issues involves checking environment settings, permissions, and compatibility.

    Possible steps to resolve:
    - Ensure that you have selected the correct environment when installing the app. E.g. the Default/System environment should not be used for such intentions and is not always suitable.
    - Verify that the Microsoft Dynamics 365 licensing level (here: per user) is compatible with the app you're trying to install.
    - Ensure that you have sufficient permissions (here: per user) within the used Microsoft products.
    - The error message can also appear if you're trying to install the app on an unsupported Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution - verify that the app you're installing is compatible with your specific Dynamics 365 environment.

    Rg,

    Alexander

*Due to the complex and different possibilities of deploying Dynamics 365 I highly recommend not to setup the application without some expert/partner or support. (For more information contact me under anassl@inno-solutions.info or visit www.inno-solutions.de)
