Send Alert notifications by e-mail.

Hello,

I have setup the Alert notifications to be sent by e-mail. I followed the standard procedure.

The case is that I only receive the Alerts in my inbox when I run the "Tutorial_EventProcessor" form from AOT.

The batch jobs "Change based alerts" and "Due date alerts" are also running.

Is there any other batch job or something else that should be setup?

    You need E-mail parameters to be correctly filled in. Also your AX user account should have a valid e-mail set in the User options screen. Then the E-mail distributor batch job should also be running, which processes outbound messages - however, it is likely that mails are directly sent for alerts withtout the outbound queue.

    Step with new Batch group creation was missing from my procedure, so I validate the answer from Vilmos.

    Hi,

    Could anyone share what are the parameters to be given in AX 2012 R 3 for mail alerts.like the email infrastructure is office 365 .
