Please anybody has got an idea about the site of the customer account in Account receivables . is there a certain allocation for the site of the customer in AX 2012? [Moved from the title by a moderator.]
Dear Guys,
Please help me in case you got engaged with this case previously.
Thanks.
Hello Codehunter,
Can you provide more details about this issue?
I don't understand it and don't know whether it is related to allocations, an inventory site, a customer, a findim or something else.
Some additional information would help a lot; ideally supported by some screenprints.
Many thanks and best regards,
Ludwig
Hi Ludwig,
First of all, thanks for your participation.
My main point is to know if there is a certain site joined with the customer in AX or not.
Hope my point gets more clear than before.
Hi Codehunter,
You can setup a default site and warehouse that is used when you create a sales order in AX.
Do you refer to this configuration?
Best regards,
I don't need to work on sales order .
I am asking about the customer directly. Is there a way to setup site for each customer I added in the customer list.
Hope you clearly got my point.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to understand your question. Can you probably add a screenshot which can illustrate your question? What exactly would be the goal to setup the site. There is an option to enter a site and warehouse on a customer, but that is intended to be a default for new orders like Ludwig mentioned. You replied that you need something different. For this reason, I'm confused and would like to hear more details from you.
I need to identify a site for each customer as I want to know that customerA is in site "01" , customerB is in site "02" so that's what I am asking about in this forum.
Hope you clearly understood my point.
Hi
At the customer site, you have the following options to set a default site/warehouse.
I don't need to set it from sales order as I am not planning to create sales order but I need to set up the site from customer screen directly where there is a place to select a site directly.
Hope you caught my drift this time.
We already mentioned above multiple times that you can add the site on the customer details. Ludwig even shared a screenshot with the field. Yes, the field is placed in the field group called 'Sales order', but you can also personalize or customize the form and add the field on another part of the form.
Thanks ,Andrea for quick participation.
I want to know if it already exists in the customer screen or I have to customize it right away.
Your quick feedback would be highly appreciated.
