Personalized views and mandatory fields

Hi Experts,

Could anybody shed some light on the possibilities to create your own personalized views (adding fields, columns, making fields mandatory, hiding fields...) and extend them to the rest of the company or to a group of users? Is that possible to do via configuration? How can we achieve that?

So if I personalize a field, or make it mandatory, how can I do it so the rest of the users in my team can see it as well?

Or if I create a specific view like the below, how can I share it with the rest of the team?

Hi,

I would suggest the following steps:

1: First you create your own view.

2: Then you go to "Personalization", find the view and publish it.

Keep in mind that there are different views for the ListPage, where you see all customer records (Page display=Default) and the details page, when you open a customer record details (=Details)

4 (optional): Delete all custom views from other user. Otherwise they will just switch to their view and set it as default, so they override your published view.

If a user dont have a personalized view, your published will be the default one (if you set it as default), i.e. if a user do changes, like adding something, it will be based on your published view. What can happen, but its less likely, that a use first switches to the "Standard" view from Microsoft and then adds something, i.e. your published personalization will not be part of their personalization.
