Work Order Product's Warehouse not defaulting to the Resource's assigned Warehouse

Hello!

We have an Incident Type that pre-populates Products into Work Orders. When our Field Technicians are filling out Inventory they have consumed in Mobile, they get an error "Warehouse field is required to mark product used". We noticed that the Technician's defined Warehouse is not populating into each Work Order Product. They can, however, add non-prepopulated products and their Warehouse populates appropriately.

How can we set it up so pre-populated Products update to the correct Warehouse when a Booking is made?

Thanks so much!

Do you have multiple business units? Check if the user has access to the bookable resource and the warehouse.

Have you checked if the booking for that resource is populated on the WO Product record?  By default, items that are populated before a WO is booked will not be associated with a booking record and generally that is when your issue occurs.

Thanks for that link - I checked and they have all permissions outside of Create and Delete for Warehouses, and all perms for the resource.

Thanks for this info - Yes, the WO Product is associated with the Booking, and the Booking is associated with a Bookable Resource that has a Warehouse associated with Him.

Another idea - could I use a 1:N relationship to set the Work Order Product Warehouse?

What you want is out of the box. I suggest you create a ticket with Microsoft.
