Restore Voided / Deleted Transaction in AX

there are few transactions which have been deleted and I require to restore them back . honestly I never did this activity before and I don't know from where I have to do it

Can I restore it from AX Application through AX options ?

Is it require to run certain code and if yes where i have to run it AX ?

Hi Wassim,

You can only restore the transactions if they were backed up before they got deleted. Generally the daily backup of the database is used for cases like this. The backup of the database can be restored into a staging or test environment and you can then copy the transactions you need from the restored database.

It is not possible to restore data from the AX application through AX options. You don't have to run any code to do it.

Based on your type of transaction you can take action.

For example if you deleted sales orders and you activate deleted order as voided from parameters then you can restore this orders.

Another example, if you turn database log is on for deletion you can restore this transactions

What kind of transactions you are looking for? Because AX is not keeping all deleted records.
