hello,

I have a scenario to where in items need to be maintained

item1type are having Company name, size, caliber, body number, color, barrel length, made_in

item2type are having company, name, model, caliber gr,

i'm trying to evaluate if the use of product variants i.e. configuration, size, style, color for mapping these items uniquely is easier or the use of product attributes would be easier or if i use financial dimensions to implement the inventory system. do you guys can help me out what are the pros and cons of these options or if you have any better way of achieving this, kindly share? f1
