Hello,

When we are buying goods from our vendor we create a purchase order and we process it under AP;

suppose say we have taken a service from a lawyer and we have to pay to that agency; this has  to be recorded in AX. How can we record such type of services? In Which functionality does this purpose serve?

    If I understood the issue you are trying to solve, there are two main ways to post such type of invoices referring to services and not goods:

    - Using purchase orders with service items (no stock items) and process them like you do with goods purchase orders.

    - Using Invoice Journals: the invoice journals can be used to post one or more invoices without referring to an item and charghing the cost on one or more offset account with a manual selection.

    Hope it helps

    It helped. Using the second option.

    Thanks a lot
