What screen shows if a Project Transaction was set to be Accruable?

What screen (or hey, data entity) shows if a Project Transaction was set to be Accruable?  Presumably within the Project & Accounting Module, but really, anywhere -

Background if it helps:

We're a consulting firm recently switched to FO. We have Project transactions under Labor, Expense, & Fee.

I'm trying to calculate Revenue, Billed, & WIP - using the data that we pull from FO, into our BYOD.  I've 90% got it, but not quite.  Right now I'm focusing on Revenue.

I had been using the LinePropertyID of a transaction to see if it was accruable, and thus counted toward Revenue.  Works 95% of the time, every time. Darn.

There are some transactions where the LinePropertyID indicates a transaction was accruable - but in reality, the transaction is not counting toward revenue.  And vise versa. I believe these are transactions where the end user manually flipped an 'Is accruable' toggle. But say I have a given transaction, and want to check...I can't seem to find where in the UI, or any given data entity I can export, it would give definitivly if the transaction counted as being accruable.

Let me know if I'm just spouting nonsense.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi bbb0777,

The accrual information is stored in a table related to the project transaction with a suffix "Sale". You can find information in e.g. ProjCostTransSale and ProjEmplTransSale.

On the UI, you can go to any project transaction inquiry form select a record and then navigate to the Sales tab page.

    Thanks Andre Arnaud de Calavon

Seems like the 3 tables I want (for our 3 trans types:  Labor, Expense, Fees) are:

    • Expense: PMBI_ProjCostTransSale  or PMBI_deFACTProjCostTransSale
    • Hour: PMBI_ProjEmplTransSale or PMBI_deFACTProjEmplTransSale
    • Fees:  PMBI_ProjRevenueTransSale or PMBI_deFACTProjRevenueTransSale

The PMBI prefixes being because these are preconfigured entities from the company that made our version of FO.

    Other than that, look right?

They have transid - great. But I'm not quite sure which column, or combination of columns indicate if something is set to count as To Be Accrued, or not. No column(s) seem to get me to the 'correct' answer that matches the Revenue FO returns.

Any guidance on the column(s) I'm looking for, to see if a transaction counted as accruable or not?

    I see

To be clear - I don't see an accrual column on those tables. There's LineProperty, but it 100% matches the line properties I already had access to - and those only work 95% of the time.

When you say those tables would have accrual information, where in the table would that information be encoded?

    Thanks!

    Hi bbb0777,

PMBI can be indeed a prefix from a partner or own customizations. I don't know what exactly is stored or covered in these tables/entities.

Have you checked the contents of the original tables in F&O?

In this case, the PMBI prefix 100% indicates it's an entity customized by our implementation partner.

Ah, seems like ProjCostTransSale has not had an entity configured for it, so I can't export it at the moment.

On ProjCostTrans - what column(s) would  I be looking for? Then I can verify if that column would help in our current issue.  Maybe it doesn't, and the above is all a moot point.
