How to work with AX 2012 VPC in windows7 ?

Hi Experts,

                       Am using Windows 7 PC.In previous am using AX 2009 VPC Refresh 3.5 in windows 7  with VPC setup 2007.But This Ax 2012 is Hyper-v.so we must use this VPC in only SERVER.

now my doubt is there there anyway to use this vpc in windows7 or not.please help me

    It depends on how you attach your disk

    you have to attach all three disks. so far my order:

    AX5-W8R2-01

    AX5-W8R2-01_DB

    AX5-W8R2-01_PF

    oops that was my AX2009 virtual iage. when I get a chance I will post the ax2012

    Hello EveryOne,

    You can install Microsoft Dynamics Ax 2012 VPC on Windows 7 by following steps:-

    1.Install VirtualBox 4.2.12 for Windows hosts  x86/amd64 from www.virtualbox.org/.../Downloads.

    2.Install VirtualBox 4.2.12 Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack .

    Then you need to attach all three files in the below sequential order i.e

    AX5-W8R2-01

    AX5-W8R2-01_DB

    AX5-W8R2-01_PF

    and you need to select Windows 2008 (64bit) when we configure the Virtual Machine then it will work fine.
