Intercompany resource and categories with validation

Hello,

We're implementing a setup for a company with multiple legal entities. In these legal entities the validation for resource/category has been set to /Mandatory/ and category validation has been enabled on the resources.

There's a shared category named /Category Z/

This shared category has been created as a project category in legal entity 01 and legal entity 02

In legal entity 01 the resource XY has been assigned Category Z.

Resource XY from legal entity 01 attempts to register hours on a project in legal entity 02. This is not possible because resource XY hasn't been assigned a category in legal entity 02. I have to assign Category Z to resource XY in legal entity 2 before time registration is possible.

This might not be an issue when working with few employees and few legal entities. It does become a problem when there are a lot of employees and a lot of legal entities. Is there any way around this issue? In this case, since both project categories are based on the same shared category, I'd like the resource to be able to use that category in all legal entities.
