Hi everyone,

can anyone explain for which practical scenarios the feature "Show related document attachments" is useful?

I only found this generic description: Show related document attachments - Dynamics 365 Release Plan | Microsoft Docs

"This feature modifies the Documents attachments page to support viewing attachments from all tables on the page that are related to the active record. The attachments count reflects this change. In addition, users are able to move and copy attachments between those related tables."

thanks for your feedback and for pointing out the difference in the UI.

I was hoping to learn also how it could be useful in practical scenarios (added value from a process perspective).

From release 10.0.21, You will see a little change in User experience and can see the complete versioning of the attached document with the records.

This is something I heard in FastTrack call.

I noticed with the release of 10.0.21 it is fully disabled. Which has now caused a problem with all our paperwork as the information is no longer at a address level therefor it is not printing notes.

Hi Fjorela,

From personal point of view, it will give a better overview that which tables you can add an attachment since some forms are related to several tables.

For example, in some GER config we have mapping to attachment on specific table where this feature will get an better overview to users when they adding attachment to a record to correct table.
