Replace out-of-box FreeTextInvoice report with a custom report

Hi,

 

I am trying to replace the out-of-box FreeTextInvoice.Report with a custom report but I don't know how to do this from X++ code or from Ax client. Main purpose for this is to allow different companies to have unique Invoice layout.

 

Please help!!!

    Add multiple design to exist FTI SRS report instead of creating new report.

    Thanks Huzaifa,

    I tried that approach too and modified the PrintMgmtDocType class to return the new design but AX is always looking for the FreeTextInvoice.Report design at time of printing.

    Are you using print mangement ?

    you should only consider changing PrintMgmtDocType in case you are using print management
