Document Title in Sales Invoice report

Hi,

My requirement is to change the title of the sales invoice report and show the title as (say) XYZ and also allow the user to be able to print standard title as well.

So what I have done is added another menu item ( basically replicated existing one ) and now want that whenever user clicks this new_item option he should be able to see XYZ.

I have checked into the controller class and found the documentTitle method controlling this but I am unable  to find the caller menu item in the documentTitle method hence unable to change the title in report.

    Hi Anoop,

    Potentially you can add a parameter as property value on the new menu item. When starting the main method, it would be possible to read this value from the args() parameters.

    Ok I will try that as well.

    At present I manged to do this by adding a new param method in contract class and in prerunmodifycontract i made it true then checked this while inside documenttitle method.

    Do let me know what you would consider as better solution.

    Also can you point nay example doing such a scenario as suggested by you.

    I will trying your solution my morning tomorrow.
