I have a challenge in Events planning, and I can't get my head around this one.
I want to use Teams as a streaming provider. It should be OOB and default, right?
But I get a message saying "You do not have an active Microsoft Teams license to stream your event. Ask your?IT admin?for?assistance, if needed". This goes for two different clients in the UAT environment. You can't create a Teams webinar in Event planning.
Now, I have been in touch with the IT admin, and we have gone through some of the settings commands as suggested in this link and https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/set-up-webinars#configure-the-new-webinar-experience-with-powershell , and this link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/teams-webinar
There are different commands, and I wonder if they sort of knock out each other, or what commands needs to run to make Teams work as a streaming provider. The pop-up, about the not having the right Teams license seems strange, the DOD and GCC Teams license (which does not have webinar) is for US government, and does not apply for most businesses, as I understand. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/servicedescriptions/office-365-platform-service-description/office-365-us-government/gcc-high-and-dod
