Hi,

I am facing a problem when i open RTC. It shows that "A server was not found at "net.tcp://localhost:7046/DynamicsNAV70/Service". Either the URL is incorrect or the server is currently not available."

Have already checke dwith options by changing the database user mappings and almost all the solutions provided but still the error persist.

Please help me out

Thank you.

Is it same error for all users?

Did you check whether Service is running and pointing to right database?

    What is in event viewer?

The URL contains "localhost" - is it really correct that both NAV client and NAV service are installed locally on your computer?

    Is the NAV service running?

Are you using this URL in the server machine or from a client machine?

If you are using this URL in the client machine then it will pop up a error because you are using localhost. Instead of local host provide the server name.

For the url provide this and check

    Servername:7046/DynamicsNAV71

How to check whether the service is pointing to right database?? I have given the database name in service as the same as my local one.

    Hi Natalie,

Yes the service is running but whenever i tried to run any table or form in 2013 it pops out the error that "THERE ARE NO  SERVER INSTANCE AVAILABLE FOR THE INSTANCE".

How can i clear the issue.?

Open NAV Administration Tool and choose the service name on left side.

where is Service/Middletier installed? Is it on your local machine?

Open Development Environment and go to File-->Database-->information

Here you have Server Instance field.

If it is blank then you will get above error.

Click Drop down and choose service from list.

If the available service instances list is empty then it means your database is not attached to any service.
