Hi All,
Microsoft is posting COM based Dynamic 365 App for outlook will be absolute in version 9.1 on premise.
How can I make sure that my app version is light or COM based looking at UI.
Is there any way? This screenshot is from earlier version 9.0
Hi Sushma,
In Outlook, choose File and Office Account.
You'll find your version and build number under Product Information.
If you need to know whether you're using the 32-bit version or the 64-bit version of Outlook, select About Outlook.
Choose the About Outlook box.
Regards,
Leah Ju

You can't easily tell from the D365 UI. However, you can tell from how it was deployed as well as from the Outlook client. If the D365 app shows up in File>Options>Addins>COM Addins, then you have the COM app version. If it was centrally deployed from your D365 Email config page and you do NOT see the addin under COM addins, then you have the modern version.
