How to enable catch wt functionality after the product is released

Hello all,

ProductInformationManagement\Common\Released products

I have created a product using release products form with out marking cw product.

Some how product is released and i can find in Released products form.

Now i need to enable the Catch weight functionality for the item.

Could you please guide me.

    Delete the released product, set the product up as a CW item, release the product.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

    Here a lot of items which are wrongly released with out marking catch weight.


    I thought if its possible to make the item as Catch weight configured once it's released then i will do run a script to update.

    It is driven from the product, and you cannot update the product once you have released products because, presumably, of the related tables it updates when CW is present. This means your script cannot just update the field, it needs to consider the logic behind the creation of a released product once the CW flag is ticked and the population of any related tables.

    Yes,We need to update all the tables which are related to the Catch wt.

    I thought anyone might have gone through this scenario and expected to get suggestion.

    You might want to post a new post - "Updating catchweight on released products - which tables to update". This post was "how" which the answer was a script, now you need to know what the script needs to do. A new unverified post may get a user that has gone through this to respond. I have not gone through it and I am not a developer :-)
