Clustered report server with 2 Reporting services extension

Hi,

I want to implement Report Servers with

HA/scale-out/fail over (whatever is applicable) in the following scenario:

Environments:

1. Live 2. PreProd

AOS Servers:

1. AOSLive 2. AOSPreProd

2 Database Servers in High Availability:

AXSQLDB containing

AXLive, AXLive_model, AXLiveBaseline

AXPreProd, AXPreProd_model, AXPreProdBaseline

Report Server:

For both Live and PreProd I can use a single report server according to this article:

Can I combine multiple reporting services instances with high availability using 2 servers only ? 1 will work as fail over and 1 will provide reporting services to 2 AX environments at the same time.

    Do you have Enterprise SQL or Sql2016 sp1 or later? if not then you can't scale out ssrs.

    I am using SQL server 2014 Enterprise and

    Ax 2012 r3 cu 10.

    Then its not supported. See https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc645993(v=sql.120).aspx

     SQL server 2014 standard edition will not support for SSRS scale out deployment.

    Mine is SQL Server 2014 Enterprise.

    Scale out deployment (Web farms) Yes Yes

    Does this mean it will support it?
