Management Reporter Version Conflict

Hi everyone

I tried updating MR2012 to CU16 and now when I launch report designer or viewer I get a "version mismatch" error.

I have checked, server components version is 2.12.16013 and client components 2.12.16013. 

The version in the MR database as far as I can see is also as below

Name Value
AppliedUpgradesVersion 2.12.16013
SchemaVersion 2.12.16013

Does anyone have some insight into the possible problem?

    Does Report Designer run on the server? What about other workstations? On the workstation I would uninstall MR, delete all related folders and reinstall with CU 16.

    Hi Richard

    Thank you for the response. We only use MR from the server, all users remote in.

    I was being really blonde, I was using the wrong server address to log in.

    Apologies, its been a looong year.
