Creating an alert between entities.

Posted on by 443

Hi,

Pretty new to Dynamics, but basically, I work in the educational sector.

Applications for our courses are stored in Dynamics, not all of these applications will end up with an open opportunity. We need to distinguish the applications with no open opportunities from the applications that have open opportunities. We also need to be alerted when an application has no opportunity.

What do you think would be the easiest way to do that?

Thanks as always.

    Hi Ted W,

Creating a view for applications with open opportunities and a view for applications without open opportunities is the easiest way to distinguish between application types. You could then develop a workflow or plugin to email a user when an application has no opportunity.
