That's simply due to the fact that the item decimal places are not the same as the UOFM quantity decimal places ..

    Here is the explanation:

For the unit of measurement, there is a field for the quantity decimals places as shown in the screen shot below:

    A2.png

For the item, there is a field for the quantity decimal places as well, as shown in the screen shot below:

These two decimal numbers should match. For instance,

A unit of measurement KG with a quantity decimals of 3

If you want to create an item to be assigned to the KG unit of measurement, the item should definitely have the same number of decimals which is 3 as well. Otherwise, the system will not allow you to add this specific UOFM.

Let us know if you need any further assistance,

One more point to add up, If you are assigning a class to an item. Again, both the item and the class should have the same decimals. See screen shot below for the item class decimals :

    Yes, you are definitely right.

How about the selected class ? Doesn't have any decimals ?  Did you make sure that this specific class has an item type (KIT) ?

    Your feedback is highly appreciated,

Problem has been solved by using this way

Item created without changing the value kit or inventory item

According the settings in Class ID will automatically choose the  KIT or inventory items

    Thanks
