    Hi Ann2015,

You have to provide more information here especially how you created the field and what you expect it doing.

Also some info on the code used will help.

    Many thanks,

    Ludwig

    Thanks you.

Did you try adding simple string field  , does it show data ?  Deploy report and start SSRS service , if its happening on dev VM and see if it helps.

Service is on  your development VM. Did you debug ur DP class , assuming you are using DP class to populate this field to see if  the field has value ?  Make sure that value is properly assigned  using debugger. If  you see value is assigned properly in the code  and you still don't see value on report then restarting service might help.

    Hi Ann,

You can duplicate your report like this.pastedimage1570614587623v1.png

And debug your DP class to confirm if the field have values in data source .pastedimage1570614631388v2.png

Then check the control has chosen the right field .pastedimage1570614640708v3.png

    Best  regards,

    Will

I did debug it this way and the fields has no value, but there is data in the tables. Not sure why I am unable to see the data. SO I am wondering if the datatype memo is the issue?

If I add a str field and assigned a different value then the data gets populated, its only the "memo" field type that is causing the issue.

    Thanks.

If you are not getting value for your field in your DP class  when you debug then problem exist in your code  where you fetch the value.

I found an issue in the DP class and now I get the value but it still doesn't show on the report. SO I am wondering if the datatype memo is the issue?

Thank you all, I figured out the issue now.

The DP class was throwing some errors and now the value is populated.
