Positive days in coverage group

hi , i am trying to play around with the positive days setting in AX2012.  My understanding on this parameter is that it tells AX how far in the future it should consider using current inventory to fulfil future demand.

I've created a coverage group with the follow settings

Coverage code : requirement

Coverage time fence :90

Negative days : 5

Positive days : 10

I then picked an item with on-hand inventory of 5 and there's no incoming POs.  I created a couple of sales orders using this item.

Order A with requirement date = current date + 5 days. Order qty is 1

Order b with requirement date = current date + 20 days. Order qty is 1

When I run master scheduling, AX suggests to use current stock on hand to fulfil both orders, and didn't suggest any planned PO. I was expecting system suggest a planned PO for order b as the requirement date is outside of the defined positive days range. Am i missing anything??  thanks
