Filter SharePoint Documents displayed to Customer on Portal

Hello,

I am looking to filter the documents displayed to a customer on the portal. With projects we have internal documents we store on the SharePoint, but we also have customer facing documents. I want to be able to only show the Customer facing documents. I have set up multiple folders, but I do not know how to filter the folders, is there a better way? Should I be creating multiple document locations for the Project? If anyone has experience setting this up any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Mahone,

Creating multiple document locations seems like a good approach.

OOB, there is no filter on the documents shown on the Portal.
