    Excel Add-in cannot be updated
    Hi All,
We were facing the same issue and the cause was following:
    • we imported Sales Headers, Sales Lines ... multiple fields in primary key
    • by accident we switched the columns and get one non-primary field before all of the primary key fields. E.g. "Document Type", "Sell-to Customer No.", "Document No." ....
    • So the reason was, that it created the Sales Order with blank "Document No." than it created a new one with "Document Type" and "Document No."
    • The next record started again with "Document Type" only and it crashed on duplicate error.
    • The data were not duplicated at all.

    Maybe it will help someone.
    Good luck

    Hi GirishS,

It worked, I was able to remove the duplicates using the filter then Refresh (that was the only way I was able to do)

    Thank you for the solution.

    Kamel.

    Hi Kamel,

Do you want to update the entity across companies?

Have you tried to remove duplicate entries from the excel file and then try to publish? Please check if there are duplicates customers in your list.

    Hi Kamel Sadek,

I don't know what is the cause of the issue. But for time being you can add filters on the excel to the datasource and publish. It will work.

For example if you are entering transaction lines for X customer, you can add that customer X as filter.

Please go through the below link for adding filters in excel.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

From the customer list, when I click on export and select Customers (GEN), the export is not done from the D365 GRID but from the Table itself CustTable. The grid doesn't contain duplicates but it looks like the Table contains one duplicate (shown in the Excel after the export).
I don't know how to fix this.

    Hi Kamel Sadek,

Instead of cut and paste, did you try inputting yourself before publishing?

Before you click publish. You should please confirm that you have no duplicate record.
