Hello experts,
I have some questions about Flex credit prorate formula on Flex credit programs:
I. Option:
My example:
- Employee onboarded at 07/01/2021
- Period: 2021
- Total Credit value: 272,800
- Flex credit prorate formula: Daily
=> number of flex credits employees receive per day: 272,800/ 365 = 747.3972603
=> Total flex credits amount since Employee employed (07/01/2021-12/31/2021) = 747.3972603* 184 (12/31/2021-07/01/2021+1) = 137521.0959
However, result that D365HR calculated is: 136,774
II. Option:
Current month – Prorates the number of flex credits an employee receives to the month level, rounded to the current month. The total number of flex credits is divided by the number of months in the period. For example, if your benefit period is 15 months, the system will divide the total number of flex credits by 15 to calculate the number of flex credits employees receive per month.
My example:
- Employee onboarded at 07/01/2021
- Period: 2021
- Total Credit value: 272,800
- Flex credit prorate formula: Current month
=> Number of flex credit employee receives per month = 272,800/12 = 22733.333
=> Total flex credits amount since Employee employed (07/01/2021-12/31/2021) = Number of flex credit employee receives per month* Number of periods = 22733.333 * 6 = 136,400
However, result that D365HR calculated is: 125,908
Could someone help me explain?
Thank in advance,
Best regards,
