Copy paste line dimension in RTC

Hi all..

Is it possible to copy paste line dimension in RTC? Because one of my client told me that she so tired to input a dimension in every line of item journal that have a same dimension value. I just imagine the object like copy document can be used for line dimension too. Anybody have suggestion for this case?

    You can use standarad CTRL+C i CTRL+V in Item Journal for all record, and so for dimension value. If you have the same dimension value in all lines, you can use F8 for copy values from top field.

    Maybe I am not understand you.

    Dear Aleksandar,

    Thank you for replying my post. I knew about that, but the point is on the line dimension not in the item journal line.

    For example, I want to create negative adjustment for item A and want to assign department and country dimensions on that item. So, after I filled the item journal line, I use Ctrl + Shift + D to open journal line dimension.

    If I got more than one, like 5 until 10 different items in item journal line that have a same department and country dimensions, I still should to open journal line dimensions for every line item and filled with the same value 5 or 10 times.

    It would make my fingers curly.. Hehe.. :)

    OK, this is not possibly by standard, but it is possibly with small customization.

    You need to mak new page based on table Journal Line Dimension. When you open this page from journal, system must set:

    -Table ID = 83

    -Journal Template Name = same as journal

    -Journal Batch Name = same as journal

    You need some function to put all Line No. from journal to Journal Line No.

    After that, you can fill dimension fields. If you have more dimension per line number, you need to create the same line in page and mew dimension.
