SSL Certificate expiry date is near

Hi All,

Expiry date of SSL certificate which we have bought from godaddy and used in our Production environment is going to expire soon.

We have bought new certificate which we want to implement in our production environment.

We have Retail components also (Async Server, Async Client, Real Time Service, Retail Server etc).

Can anybody list down the changes which I have to made in configurations to get going smoothly?

    Hi, I have the same problem, we used a self-signed certificate for one of our servers and it`s going to expire soon, now we have a new certificate and it should be replaced.

    5 stores are currently connected to async server using this certificate, I tested replacing the thumbprint of new certificate in WEB.CONFIG file but it`s not working,

    can someone please tell me what other changes should i make to make it work?

    Hi everyone,

    My problem is solved, we needed 2 steps:

    First: change the thumbprint of certificate in config file (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\CDX\Async Server\Package\WEB.CONFIG)

    Second: select the new certificate in IIS in the path: select the related site in IIS>edit site>bindings>edit>SSL certificate

    after selecting new certificate you should restart related website in IIS and there you go, it`s ok now.

    you can test it by checking AsyncClientConfigurationUtility and test connection.

    Hi, my client's SSL Certificate is also near expired. But i was successfully renew the SSL Cert and only change the binding (IIS) from old SSL Certificate to new SSL Certificate. I didn't change the thumbprint in config file (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\CDX\Async Server\Package\WEB.CONFIG). But so far there is no problem in the retail components and everything works smoothly until now.
