Is it possible to log into Dynamics AX server using BC.Net on a remote computer

Hi

Can I use BC.Net and Axapta.Logon(...) or Axapta.LogonAs(...) to connect to a Dynamics server (within the domain) from another PC (I am able to connect running C# 3.5 on the Dynamics server).

    You can, if Business Connector is installed on the PC. Business Connector is essentially just a type of Dynamics AX client.

    Hi

    Thanks for that - is it the AOSInstance and server (concatenated below - 01@DeVAX2009) that give away where the Dynamics Server is located and it's instance?

    For example:

    ax.LogonAs("Administrator", "MyDomain", networkCredential, "", "", "01@DeVAX2009", "");

    I've never used that parameter (I use configurations from registry or configuration files - the last parameter), nevertheless according the documentation, it should be InstanceName@AosServer:Port.
