How to display original sales order number in return order form in D365FO

Hello everyone
Good morning
 
Is there any feature to view the original sales order number on the return order form in D365FO or is it required development ?

Please suggest an alternate form/report to view the original order number along return order form in D365FO.
 
I have already noticed that, while clicking on the return lot ID, the system will bring us to the original sales order.
 
Kindly ask you to suggest me a solution for this.

    I think you have Sales Order Id in the Return order header, right?
     
    Are you looking for some other thing?

    Hi,
     
    To get the original order number on the form, it would require a small customization. You can create a display method looking up the original sales order number from the return lot ID.
     
     
    PS. Technically, a return order is also a sales order in the application. For that reason, there is a Sales order field on the return orders, but this is not the original sales order. Note that you can have one return order managing returns from multiple deliveries. The original sales order can only be linked to a return order line for that reason.
