RE: Payroll/Direct Deposit
Hello vloveira23,
Reading through your description around what occurred, I think the most likely scenario is that you had an interruption or stuck payroll work records that caused a problem with this employee’s direct deposit amount. There’s no way to definitively say for sure what caused the problem after the fact unless the problem can be actively replicated.
I can tell you that we do not have any known Quality Issues around what you describe.
Here’s a link to a good blog one of our engineers wrote about payroll posting interruptions:
Recovering from failed Payroll processing activity in Dynamics GP - Microsoft Dynamics GP Community
If you’d like assistance with determining best steps to fix the problem, we’d be happy to assist via a support case: https://support.serviceshub.microsoft.com/
We’d have to review the data for the pay run as a whole to determine best steps and that’s not something we can do within community forums.
Hope this helps!
Thank you for using Dynamics Communities,
