I have question regarding changing date format in ax, when exporting file to mm/dd/yyyy from mm/d/yy format.

If you have a class that create a file, you can handle the single value using the AX functions like Date2Str(..), msdn.microsoft.com/.../aa857241.aspx

Date format is connected to user language, try to change it in options for your user.
