Here, I need to know which are standard dependency fields and parents fields. How can i get these details from web API
For example, In incident (case), Customer field is parent field of contact field. - Where is this relationship maintained and how can I retrieve this using webapi.
Hello there,
For this, you can use the function named "retrieveDependentComponents" :docs.microsoft.com/.../retrievedependentcomponents
This will tell you the dependencies for a field.
List of component types: docs.microsoft.com/.../solutioncomponent

Hi,
I checked above but no luck. I need to know which fields are dependent in entities. For example, In incident contact field is dependent on Customer field while select account. How can i identify contact field is dependent for customer field
For this you can go to relationships of the entity, look for the relationship. Then, select mappings. It will tell you what are the dependent fields that you are looking of.
