Hi,

We are using the to import data for pricing in DMF in D365. I am trying to export the error messages with the records in error. I cannot find a table where the error messages are stored. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

Thanks!

    Hi Peggy,
There should be an log that lists you the errors that occurred during the import. If this does not help, try the following:
    • Export the entity with some records filtered. (You can use DMFDefinitionGroupExecutionHistory table via table browser and then export all rows to excel or you can use DatamanagementExecutionExecutionJobDetails Odata entity)
    • Open the exported Excel and compare it with your template.
    • Probably enter some new data in the exported Excel document and upload it to get the new records imported.
    Best Regards,
    Hana

HI there it will be best to visit the staging data and sort it from Z to A it will help you to see the errors and you can export it by clicking the right corner of the lines and export it to the excel.

Hi Peggy, During data entity import, record insertion in staging or in Target table. If you click on View Execution Log, you can check the error records in View Staging Data and Staging log details. If you need to export those records, it can be exported to excel directly from form. If not, then use table browser as mentioned in other suggestions.
