Hi,

Is there any was in NAV 2016 so that when a user opens the program, they are presented with the company selection windows every time? It seems a bit dangerous at times when a user is set up for multiple companies and they are not paying attention and accidentally create transactions thinking they're in a different company.

Also, on that topic, can we have different coloured them per company maybe?

    It is when you specify a company in the shortcut to start NAV.

    If you specify an unknown company, it will prompt you for a "better" one.

    Try it.

    I don't understand? Under User Personalisation you can't select an invalid company? It can only be blank or a company in the list?

    If it doesn't exist at all, you will be prompted for a 'better' one.

    Thanks for your response. Great idea I just tried and it works fine if you create a fake company that no one has access to. We were hoping for a prompt but at least it's a good workaround for now.

    Hi

    You can setup up NAV to start in an 'unknown' company, so the user must select the good one !

    In the company setup,System Indicator shortcut, you can select colors and what will appear per company.
