Find transactions directly posted to Ledger main account configured with Vendor Posting profile

Hi,

How can I found out transactions that are directly posted to LedgerMainAccount (for eg. 211001)?

This main account is configured with VendorPosting profiles.

How can I find which transactions are generated on posting Vendor transactions and which ones are directly posted to the LedgerMainAccount?

    Thanks Andre,Ludwig,Katy for the reply.

    @Ludwig Is this correct?

    DirectToAccount.png

    This is working for me.

    @Andre:

    Can you elaborate on "Journal Of Origin"? I don't know about it.

    By "not exists join on the accounting transactions with the vendor transactions"

    (eg. For Vendor) Do you mean:

    LedgerJournalTrans not exists VendTrans where LedgerJournalTrans.VendTransId == VendTrans.RecId

    @Katy,Andre
    I checked the Vendor Reconciliation report with Differences and Include details checked.
    I got the correct result on test environment.

    Thanks.

    Dear MYGz,

    try to use the Vendor / Ledger Reconciliation report. You can find it in General Ledger -> Reports -> Reconciliation -> Vendor -> Vendor. You can active the checkboxes "include details" and "differences only", it will make it easier for you.

    Another idea where the difference could come from, did you check if there's a prepayment (or any other) posting profile that maybe posts on another G/L account but also on a vendor account?

    Kind regards

    Katy

    Hi,

    Go to GL, open the voucher transactions form, enter the main account (211001) and add a filter for the posting type 'Ledger journal'.

    This should give you the manual transactions posted on that account.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi MYGz,

    You can try to filter/search on the posting type field, journal of origin or number sequence pattern of the accounting transactions. Eventually, you can try to use a not exists join on the accounting transactions with the vendor transactions based on accounting date and voucher.

    There are also some reconciliation reports which might help  you here.
