In case Delivery date is change following is question
a) Who can change date in Schedule,
b) Till what status will be it can be change ( Till it is in schedule or release).
c) In case It is change by Marketing how the message flows

b) Any status in reality
c) Dates drive it - why would marketing change the delivery date, I presume this is the sales order not the purchase order. If the demand is changed the supply will potentially shift and you will get action messages. In part you need to define process rules, but the system will always react, you will either be ordering early, late or expediting orders depending upon how the date is changed (in or out).
