Calculate Plan and Special Orders on the Requisition Worksheet

Hello-

When using the requisition worksheet, say you pull in Special Orders.  While your on the worksheet, you may want to see if there is anything else you need to order for the same vendor.  You do Calculate Plan for that vendor and some of the same items from the Special Orders need to be ordered.  When it pulls in the lines from the Calc Plan, it just deletes the Special Order lines.  You then have to re-do the Special Orders onto the worksheet.

If you do the Calc Plan first, and then the Special Orders, it works fine.

Any ideas as to why this is like this?  Tested on 2013 R2 and 2016

Thanks

Diane

    DMV ,

nop,  It wont because "Special Order" making out of the standard order , we will use it for exceptional task (out of the standard order)

so that planing wont come to that

That would make sense if the Calc Plan also included the Special Orders.  It does not.

    DMV ,

the flow is correct if you calculate the after keeping special order , the calculation plan will be not correct , thats why its overwrite

if you willing to do multiple at a time its better to create several Req worksheet templates then its ok
