We need to fulfill a sales order. It keeps coming up with we cannot fulfill till we allocate. When we try to allocate it acts like there is not enough invty available and it forces us to backlog. But item stock status show total stock: 4, on hand 3, allocated 2, available 1.
We have 2 sales orders using this part. One order is fulfilled (RMAA00073), it's fine using up qty of 1. Second order (STAOR000160)has 3 lines, 2 of which are for the same part, HW-CCDU. One line fulfilled fine, the other didn't. We did have another order previously, RMAA00072 which we had fulfilled for qty of one but that actually never shipped so we voided that order. It still shows fulfilled but it doesn't have the serial number allocated anymore so I think it is ok.
Why can't we fulfill this order.

Try running Inventory Reconcile (Inventory>>Utilities>>Reconcile) on the item in question. That may free up the fulfilled quantity. If so, this should resolve the issue on your other related post.
