Creating/Using a dynamic email campaign

We have Dynamics 365 CRM Marketing and I would like to know how to setup an dynamic email campaign, using filters, that automatically adds future new contacts to the campaign? In short, we use industries as a filter and I want to be sure that once we create the campaign, as long as it remains active, any and all newly added contacts into CRM with that industry, are added to the campaign.

    Hi Ckitch,

    email campaigns generally consist of 3 elements:

    1. the email itself
    2. the segment (where you define your audience)
    3. and the customer journey (which combines the email and the segment)

    The filter you want to apply happens in the segment. That's where you define your audience using demographic or behaviour filters, or any other criteria in your CRM. Once you've got the segment defined and the email designed, you bring them together in the customer journey.

    If your segment is dynamic, it will automatically add future contacts that meet your defined criteria to your journey.

    Hi partner,

    If it's just as an email, not an email campaign, sent through the customer journey, then based on dynamic segment. I think it's doable. But if it's an email campaign, I don't think that seems possible.
