Unable to Export Company list to Excel receive (An error has occurred)

Hello Community,

We currently run Dynamics CRM 4.0 (4.0.7333.3822) and are looking to migrate to a newer version.

We're currently in the process of trying to export a list of our Companies using the /Active Accounts/ View.

When generating the view we are returned with 42025 companies and 10 column's, non of the columns have duplicate names.

We receive an error when trying to export all pages to Excel and the error just states /An error has occurred/

We're able to export select items or a whole page (250 results) but just not all 169 pages.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Based on the documentation:

By default, you can export a maximum of 10,000 records from Microsoft Dynamics CRM to an Excel worksheet by using the Static worksheet with records from all pages in the current view feature.

Many thanks for your response.

I have just checked and we are able to export more than 10,000 entries in the contact section but just not the company section. I have checked and we have just as many contacts as we do Companies. Is this limitation exclusive to the Company list?
